Basic Forum Rules

Please follow these basic rules as they will be enforced, some loosely some strictly.

1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning

2. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.

3. No playing mod or admin. Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team or an Admin. Please use the “post report” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned.

4. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. One warning, on the second offense the offending user will be banned temporarily, on 3rd offense the offending person will be banned permanently.

5. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed. One warning, on the second offense the offending user will be banned temporarily, on 3rd offense the offending person will be banned permanently.

6. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned.

7. No spamming. Spammers will have the spamming posts removed and will receive a warning.

8. The moderators and admins reserve the right to edit, remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Mods and Admins and not users.

9. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.

Please do not abuse others or spam, spam will be removed and the spammer may be subject to being banned from the forum. Breaking any of the forum's central conduct rules will result in either a warning, temporary ban (you will be told of the time) or permanent ban, depending on the seriousness of the offense or previous offenses.

Please treat others with respect and be sure to watch your language when out of character. We understand that some characters do curse and use foul language at times, but excessive foul language will not be tolerated when out of character (OOC), especially if it is directed towards individuals with malicious intent.

All rules of this forum apply, we should not have to tell you as admin how to behave as some things should be apparent not to do such as posting pornographic content or using racial slurs, and etc. Hopefully you were raised with values and respect for others, if not, you may be in for a rough ride.

In other words, keep it PG-16 people!


If you ever see any of these rules broken, or either any suspicious conduct, such as godmodding or metagaming, please report it to an Admin or Moderator immediately. If any Admin or Mod abuses power in anyway or is rude, please report it to either myself (Yellow) or Red immediately.
